Welcome to the Equine Therapy section of our website. My name is Cayce Vanderzalm and I am the resident equine therapist (in training) here at Eternity Miniatures. I am a recent graduate from Dave Collins' course at the BC College of Equine Therapy in Vernon, BC. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be an equine massage therapist. When I came across Dave Collin's school, I knew it was right for me. Since being accepted and embarking on this journey, I have learned more than I ever thought possible. My goal in this business is to help as many horses as I can. I love to see horses reach their full potential and by being physically and emotionally in-balance, they are much more equipped to succeed. My main focus is to seek out whatever issues there may be and to restore balance and harmony to the horses body. The end result should be a relaxed and happy horse who's body is in balance to the best of its ability.

Therapy sessions start with a physical assessment of the horse to seek out imbalances within the body. Information from the owner is encouraged at this time to help me find what the problem is and where it may have originated from. Treatment may include massage, chiropractics and energy balancing. The length of the session varies, depending on the needs of the individual horse. Per session: $50

Relaxation sessions are meant to do exactly that; relax your horse! These sessions are also used to move lymph fluid and to stimulate circulation. Per session: $40

Saddle fitting is available for both english and western saddles. An assessment is done with your horses current saddle to determine whether it fits or not. If the saddle does not fit I can determine if your saddle is suitable to have shims (orthodics) installed to change the fit, or if a different saddle is required. An assessment of your saddle pads is also included in a saddle fit session. Per session: $50 for a single saddle or $65 per hour for multiple saddles. Orthodics are $40 for a pair. Regular customers (those who have two or more sessions in a month), those within 10km's of my farm, and those with multiple horses are eligible to receive discounts. Please bear in mind that these prices reflect the fact that I am a student, and they are subject to change without notice.
